devils brigade.

no surf, a continuing battle with SAD and aDevils Brigade show.

Life in London is hectic, Im not complaining because I choose it. Run with it, battle it and try and tame it. I take every opportunity thrown at me and sometimes it feels like the walls are closing in. Nae problemo really, I just deal with one issue at a time and all the others can just wait their sweet turn. Except when my body gives way. Ive really got to start looking after myself. When I skip out on sleep that shit comes back and bites me, especially this time of year and especially now I have to wake up every day at 7am. Oh well, im on antibiotics for another bug ive picked up. This happened a couple of years ago before the CR trip, just got so tired and run down, stressed and overworked I couldnt shake illnesses. Ive been sleeping a lot these past 2 days and just trying to repair and rebuild myself. I think I need a new strategy. Yoga? yeah, vegetarianism, probably not but more sleep and better food. Gotta stay sharp to stay on top of this life.

Been thinking a lot about food, Tescos is an arse pit if you ask my opinion. Shit food and high preices. Im going to do my best to shop locally. Tescos is convenient but I do not agree with their ethics of meat production and dairly for starters. Their fruit is SHIT and fucking expensive too. We are one silly nation for allowing these corporations dominate our choice. But yes im just as guilty as the next person of living the convenient life.

Anyways back to punk rock. Saw the Devils Brigade at the borderline, free tickets courtesy of some high st music shop. Theyre overpriced so I dont buy shit from them but they came thru this time with £35 worth of free tickets.Show was good. Bit short but thats our fault for hanging out in the Court on TCR drinking and watching Arsenal lose to ManUTD.Missed the support. Matt Freeman is the best bass player in punk...no probably rock music, and playing the standup bass did not disapoint. Full marks for setting up and soundchecking himself, and then hanging out at the merch stand for an hour after chatting and signing shit.

Supposedly the bore returns on sunday at 8am. no sure im gonna make this one. what with trying to get over being ill.too sensible? ive already missed st patricks day.
