Hit the Gower this weekend just past, beautiful place, no quicker to get to than Devon - well not at the time we went. Really nice people the Welsh, i have to say. Made us feel very welcome and fuzzy inside.
Saturday afternoon surf was pretty heavy as the swell came up, paddle out was a schooling. made it out and everything was ugly, but the duck diving huge lumps was fun, with Connor, Tom and Dave.
Had a cool adventure along the beach from LLangennith to the other end after a few pints...about 2-3 miles over some of the most wicked sand dunes ever - we got lost in the dark. saw this worms head in the fog by moonlight was epic. then got up at 5am and drove to Gloucester to try and catch the Severn Bore. Unsuccessfully.all 6 of us missed it. We will return on the 20th March, as nobody want to be defeated by a 2ft moving puddle.
