Hmm.Not that id could ever take credit, but just noticed thats the latest episode of the Simpsons is called postcards from the wedge. Maybe i should watch it. i stopped watching after a Simpsons season back to back one to sixteen marathon, it took 3 months. Anyways by the by. Just got back from seeing Hot Water Music. Great band. Im a newcomer but theyre solid. See FT stage left. Felt like another band I missed out on 10 years ago,pretty stodgy crowd too. They played True believers by the Bouncin souls which reminded me, how much they kicked ass, you are as old as you feel...

Was just thinking about why the Gallows sound works so well. For a start I dont really get into younger bands, or not easily. These guys strike chord like really good blend of the punk, hardcore and metal that was so good in the heavy music we grew up with.The great thing is they sound unasahmedly British and at the same time still maintain some credibility. After years of limp wristed Indy shite pouring out of this country,we've been looking to American shores for inspiration, finally we're actually turning out some decent artists again the world are taking notice of. No, not radiohead, get fucked. Proper balls to the wall rock music.
