Been a little busy, but in terms of punk rock and surfing. Alkaline trio - not really a punk band these days, in punk circles theyre stadium rock. But the were in the roundhouse last week. Sound was shit. band were fairly dull, crowd was jailbait. I got smashed. Gallows supported which was cool, like these watford noisefucks more and more.
2 days later found myself in a dirty hardcore shoe in brixton, wating palm from osaka - a pretty slick Jap Hc unit, preceded by a bunch of varying HC guys. Armed Response Unit were interesting.
Friday AM went to Newquay stinking hangover and no sleep. Well worth it. tiny South fistral Longboard session was a bit shit, still cold in my 3/2 but epic longboard session at North fistral in the evening, so many waves, 5 on the nose a couple of times.
after that watergate at high tide on a shortbaord with pete and tom was good, few nice but short rides. and back to north fistral for anotehr saturday evening session. Tom snapped his board.Badass. Got really rippy and choppy though, still no wind.
Sunday morning surfed south fistral again on a longboard, nothing great though. we stayed in a shed on Tolcarne, was alright. ate lots, didnt really drink too much ahah.
